According to a survey by The Aviation Training Stakeholders Committee, in the period up to and including 2016, aircraft maintenance companies expect that there will be a need to recruit 193 new workers in order to replace those taking early retirement and 271 new workers in order to replace those retiring. According to the survey, maintenance companies foresee a modest increase of 195 jobs in the period up to 2016.
