Creating apprenticeships, ensuring the intake of young people

  • Young people who meet the admission requirements of the airport and the specific company have access to an apprenticeship programme lasting one to two years (depending on the type of programme). Once they achieve a satisfactory result, they will be awarded an MBO diploma.
  • Recruitment and selection of young people for job training.
  • Setting up apprenticeships with certified training companies operating in the security, hospitality, aircraft and other industries. Once they achieve a satisfactory result, the young people involved will be awarded an MBO diploma. They usually take employment with the company where they have completed their apprenticeship.
  • Initiating collaboration.

Objectives

To consolidate the job market, both quantitatively and qualitatively, by meeting actual demand for labour in the aviation industry. To lower the threshold within aviation organisations in order to facilitate work placements.

The plan is to introduce 693 new graduate applicants into aviation in the first project period (16 August 2013–15 August 2015) and 257 in the second one (16 February 2015 – 15 February 2017), into roles ranging from logistician to aircraft constructor
