Helping people with limited opportunities on the job market to find work

Companies in the aviation industry are being encouraged to make apprenticeship placements available to this target group and to support them/lighten their burden during recruitment, selection and guidance activities, as well as during the organisation of any training programmes and the administrative grant application process.

Depending on the company offering the apprenticeship placement, the participant will be assisted in returning to employment and gaining experience under supervision. If applicable, the participant will also complete an apprenticeship training programme in order to attain a basic qualification for the labour market.

Processes for benefit claimants and people living on welfare are closely coordinated with the Greater Amsterdam Employers’ Service Point and other municipal bodies, while those for the occupationally disabled are closely coordinated with the CAP100 organisation.

Objective

To ensure that, before the end of the project period (15 February 2017), 100 participants will have completed an apprenticeship programme, gained work experience, obtained a diploma (where applicable), and will enjoy good prospects, preferably in the aviation industry.
